SOT Therapy

SOT Therapy is a treatment that isolates the microRNA that drives the tumor cell replication. DNA is double stranded and has to unzip. RNA is single stranded and has to copy the sequence base pairs and then goes on to make copies. Tumor cells divide very rapidly. The company we work with has sophisticated technology that isolates the circulating tumor cells and stem cells, categorizes the microRNA proteins then grades the targets. They find the aggressive microRNA sequences then formulate a treatment that will cleave to and silence the promotor that is driving those aggressive circulating tumor cells. They create an antisense molecule that has a sequence of base pairs that is opposite and attracts like a magnet so that it will bind to it and neutralize it which takes it out of circulation by stopping further replication. New treatments are made based on new activity every few months so that the treatments get better and more efficient over time. Targets can be graded which is important because it can target the most aggressive cancer cells in your body first.
